I always imagined that when we had a baby we would have the "all American nursery" with a full room dedicated to our little bundle with new furniture and everything that goes with it.
Unfortunately, our new lifestyle and two-bedroom apartment in Norway makes that an impossibility. I was a little disappointed at first, but I've enjoyed being creative in making her room very special and personalized with some DIY room accents.
However, one of the caveats to wanting to keep a guest bedroom
and have a nursery means that some of her equipment is overflowing into other areas of the house (which might have happened anyway to be honest!). But this is why we no longer have an apartment - Madison has an apartment!
We'll start by showing off her stuff in the living room and kitchen and save the best for last and then reveal her actual room. :-)
