Madison's Apartment!

I always imagined that when we had a baby we would have the "all American nursery" with a full room dedicated to our little bundle with new furniture and everything that goes with it.

Unfortunately, our new lifestyle and two-bedroom apartment in Norway makes that an impossibility. I was a little disappointed at first, but I've enjoyed being creative in making her room very special and personalized with some DIY room accents.

However, one of the caveats to wanting to keep a guest bedroom and have a nursery means that some of her equipment is overflowing into other areas of the house (which might have happened anyway to be honest!). But this is why we no longer have an apartment - Madison has an apartment!

We'll start by showing off her stuff in the living room and kitchen and save the best for last and then reveal her actual room. :-)

And now for the best part: Madison's nursery!

The shadow box will have her hospital bracelet and going home outfit after she arrives :-)

I've already filled out everything that I can and am excited to fill the rest out after she arrives!

And her bed! The crib converts to a bassinet that we will keep in our room for the first few weeks.

Argington Bam Bam Crib; Ikea bookshelf and baskets
I sewed basket liners to match the damask theme of her room.
Madison's Pi Phi bear and Okapi!
Her beautiful name! I made these letters and framed them.
Work in progress!
What do you do when you want a crib mobile to match your nursery theme? You make one!
Every girl needs a fabulous closet full of clothes :-)
Our little lady will look fabulous for Daddy

I hope she loves her room as much as we do! We had a blast getting all of her stuff together and can't wait for her to start using it!
