Two Weeks Went Too Quick

Tomorrow is Jason's first day returning to work after staying home with me for two weeks. Needless to say I'm a little nervous to be on my own Thursday and Friday! Especially since Little Bug seems to be going through a growth spurt and wanting to eat every two hours... :-/

It made a world of difference having Jason there to help me the past two weeks. I honestly don't think I could have survived without him. He helped with anything and everything (minus the breastfeeding, but he did say he'd have helped if he could- it's the thought, right?). He was all over burping, diaper changes (including a brilliant poop catch with the new diaper mid-change), baths, outfits changes (Madi's and his own after burping...), laundry, meal prep, soothing a crying little one so Mommy could shower or snag an extra hour of sleep. It was amazing and I am totally spoiled to have had him!

I wanted Jason to know how appreciative I was of him being home. So Madi and I made him little notes to read each of the days he was home. We'd read one each morning during our first "daytime" feed. I think he appreciated them - especially the ones from Madi. :-)

Thank you Daddy for being so amazing these past two weeks! We sure are going to miss having you home!
