Flor and Fjære
Our busy weekend kicked off with wonderful Fourth of July festivities Friday night - and the fun didn't stop there! Saturday we booked lunch at Flor and Fjære. It's an island about 20 minutes outside of Stavanger with the most beautiful gardens and walking paths. Your ticket includes the ferry ride to/from the island, a short tour explaining the history of the gardens, and a delicious three course meal.
We were a little concerned about the weather (rain was forecast at 70% on Friday, but dropped to 20% by Saturday monring). However, we got a few sprinkles here and then (mostly during our indoor lunch) and the slightly overcast and cloudiness in the sky made for beautiful pictures by Jason and Lilia.
