Fourth of July 2016
One of the weirdest things about being an expat is working on US holidays - the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving especially. And I just realized a couple weeks ago that there's no "Christmas" here in Baku! That's going to be incredibly strange. This Fourth of July Jason will be working and we'll do a low-key bbq this evening.
My mom sent beautiful dresses for the girls to wear for the holiday and we attempted some pictures in them. I say attempted because we've got a toddler who refuses bow and has to be bribed for pictures and even then it's hit or miss, babies who just want to crawl and stand up, and then trying to get all three to smile simultaneously? Yeah. Right. But I think we got a few good shots anyway (and a hundred outtakes - ha!)
