Women's Retreat: Timeless Beauty

I was fortunate to be on the planning committee for our Women's Retreat this year. It was such a blessing to work with the lovely group of ladies who helped put together this relaxing weekend.

We headed up early Thursday morning to Samaxi, a new place for me to visit in Azerbaijan. The drive up was pleasant and pretty!

The retreat hotel was wonderful, albeit a bit boldly decorated, and I enjoyed the view from our patio and waking up every morning to fresh mountain air.

My main responsibility was planning our fun night, which included me dressing up as a princess for the event. So of course it was fabulous. ;-)

We held a bonfire afterwards and got to have delicious smores.

Overall, it was an amazing weekend. The theme of the retreat was Timeless Beauty. The speakers were wonderful and I got a chance to know more ladies that I wouldn't have otherwise. It was a refreshing time and a great escape for the weekend.
