International Day at Al Nebras Montessori!

The past two months all the girls have been learning about the continents. Each week has been a new continent and parents have been invited to come in and speak about a country. I covered North America for both of the girls classes and also did a last minute Azerbaijan talk for the twins class when they needed more volunteers.

The finale of this unit about the continents was an International Parade and Potluck at school. The children walked around waving flags from different countries and then sang some songs to the parents before moving into the classroom to enjoy some delicious food prepared by the parents.

It was an amazing day and absolutely so much fun! Here's some of the memories we captured from the day's events. Each of the girl's classes did their own separate class parades and potlucks. We watched both and made sure the girls got to see each other during the event.
